Digicel connecting National Stadium for Hero CPL

Digicel Guyana, through their recently launched FibreX services for businesses, will be figuratively ‘changing the game’ when they venture to connect the National Stadium at Providence for the remaining 11 matches in Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2022.

Marking an anniversary of collaboration with CPL initiatives, Digicel Guyana are venturing into a first for the company as they become the Official Fibre Internet provider at several sections of the National Stadium for all the matches in Guyana.
The announcement came on Tuesday, during a small gathering at the Digicel Business Office at the Pegasus Suites and Corporate Center.
Digicel’s Fibre for Business was launched a few weeks ago in Georgetown, with the company hoping to connect the entire capital city in 3 to 4 months’ time.
In the meanwhile, several points of the National Stadium will benefit from Digicel’s Fibre, as explained by their Head of Business Solutions, Bala Vinjimoor.
“As we support CPL this year, we also got to do the entire Fibre Internet to the Stadium. We’re providing at the entry points, media broadcast room, the VIP booths. All in all, about 8 locations we’re providing Fibre,” he explained.
“I’m excited to be part of this event again, and look forward to great service quality out there at the Stadium,” Vinjimoor added.
Besides the Stadium’s media center, pitch side, photographer positions, TV broadcast, and commentary box, Digicel is connecting the CPL Office in Georgetown.
As such, representatives from that office, Chaitram Singh and Nafeeza Rodrigues, could not be more elated.
“We’re glad to have Digicel on board with us. CPL is in its 10th year; you know, we would have reached out to them with this opportunity to provide CPL in Guyana with Fibre service, and they readily took up that task with us and they’re providing this service with us,” CPL Office’s Chaitram Singh explained.
On the other hand, CPL Office’s Nafeeza Rodrigues highlighted Digicel’s dependability throughout the process.
“We had always wanted this, now we have it. With you being the sponsor for ensuring that that kind of service is being met, it’s great to know that we can have dependable services, and so we’re very happy to be able to collaborate on this effort,” Rodrigues remarked.
Digicel’s Business Fibre has been touted by the company as providing fast, reliable, and secure internet for businesses at affordable rates.
