Digicel headlines Rupununi Rodeo 2024

The Rupununi Livestock Producers Association (RLPA) welcomes communications giant Digicel as the title sponsor of this year’s Rupununi Ranchers Rodeo.
Being Guyana’s network for everyone everywhere and the country’s leading mobile and communications giants, Digicel Guyana is the proud title sponsor of this year’s Rupununi Ranchers Rodeo.
Digicel has been supporting this event for more than a decade, and is this year on board as the largest partner.
Digicel is a household name in the Rupununi community, and remains the widest mobile and internet provider in Region 9 (Upper Takutu–Upper Essequibo).
The Rupununi Ranchers Rodeo, one of the country’s largest activities on the annual tourism calendar, usually attracts thousands of patrons. Last year’s rodeo attracted over 6,000 patrons daily, and this year’s rodeo is anticipated to attract patronage exceeding 15,000 persons.
