– West Indies players set to play their part
Today several local aspiring cricketers will engage with West Indies players led by skipper Jason Holder and Digicel officials in a special programme organized by the telephone giant called Digicel Player Empowerment. The exercise is set for the National Stadium at 11:00h.
Members of Georgetown U-17 team along with 10 other cricket hopefuls will be involved in the event. The format of the occasion is yet to be finalized but all the players are asked to assemble at Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Pavilion for 10:15h.
The U-17 players are; Ashmead Nedd, Sachin Singh, Alphius Bookie, Yudister Persaud, Dwayne Dick, Qumar Torrington, Dequan Bamfield, Juspice Jones, Adrian Hinds, Joel Spooner, Osapho Greene, NKosi Beaton, Wayne Bollers, Daniel Paul, Devon Allen and Ghamshan Premsham.
