Digicel rewards sales agents for outstanding performances
Digicel Guyana Inc on Saturday evening rewarded several sale agents and companies for their exemplary performance in 2015 at an elaborate function at the Marriott Hotel, Kingston, Georgetown.

Chief Executive Officer Kevin Kelly who spoke briefly at the event related that Digicel is committed in providing quality service to the people while adding the telephone giant is presently serving 98 per cent of the rural communities.
In addition, he thanked those present for their tremendous support during the past eight years and was happy to announce it is the first time agents from all 10 administration regions are represented at the gala event.
Those distributors that were honoured are Telecoms Solutions and Airtime Guyana Inc. The list of wholesalers awarded includes Cellsmart, G&J Phone cards, Kitty Square Mall, Marty Yassin, Cellular Plus, The Cell Guyana, Pressy’s (Selwyn Prescott) and Cellular Planet Inc. The subwholesalers are Lindon Joseph, C & T, OMEL – Aubrey Hutson, Dominique Blair, Naranjan Roopnarine, Jet Investments, Jason Sheppard and A&S Pharmacy.
In addition, several retailers were also rewarded: Alicia Charles, Penelope Mitchell, Flamboyant, Daniel Rambaran, Ileana Boodhoo, Andrew’s Supermarket, Ryan Rajmangal, Stephen Bovell, Menachem Campbell, Dwayne Munroe, Rawtie Baljit, Eton Cordis, Malcolm Carryl, Lahago, Corwin Stephens, Imam Bacchus, Jaikissoon, Julius Belgrave, Yogeeta Sharma and Leon Sankar.
Manager of the Year Category A, B and C were awarded to Melissa Boodhoo, Godfrey Chisholm and Ronald Inniss respectively.
The Most Improved Dealers award went to Speed Talk and Cell Works while the Most Consistent Performer awards went to Cell Smart and Celular Planet.
Best Dealer Retail Store Audit of 2014 went to Cellular Plus and Cellular Planet. Cellular Plus – City Mall and The Cell – Muneshwers were awarded the prize for Best Dealer Wow Audit Performance 2014. The Best Dealer – Initiative and Sponsorship was awarded to Speed Talk and Cellsmart.
In addition the Best Remote Dealers were KG Cell Tech and R&T Variety while Cellular Plus – Regency and Cellular Planet – Sheriff Street were awarded as Best Dealer Stores and the Best Flagship prizes went to Cellular Plus – City Mall and The Cell – Muneshwers.
The dealer of the year category A went to Cellular Plus and Cellsmart with The Cell and Speed Talk copping the prize for the Dealer of the Year in Category B and finally, R&T Variety and P&P Cellular were awarded Dealers of the Year in Category C.
