Although, the Bigger Better Network will be absent from the gyration on Mash Day 2017, the telephone company will make several costumes available to its customers for them to go and have a relocking time.
Since Digicel would not be a part of Mashramani 2017, having recently celebrated their 10th anniversary, the company is seeking to give some of its dedicated
customers a chance to hit the streets well decked out.
The telecommunications giant has made provisions for a number of customers to win costumes, giving them an opportunity to be a part of a band on Mash Day.
Those desirous of winning a costume would be required to download the “My Digicel App” which would give them a chance to win.
The company’s Communications Manager Vidya Sanichara told the media on Friday that Mashramani is an event that everyone would want to be a part of and as such Digicel is still contributing.
Customers can either win costumes from the Palm Court’s ‘Trinity’, as well as ‘Zeal’ by Maxi Williams.
This year, Digicel is aiming to focus its attention on families and communities and as such will not be participating in Mashramani come February 23.
However, the company promises to restock and to come again next year even bigger and better. On Thursday, several persons would have won costumes at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground.
