“Donkey” charged for stabbing man

A 21-year-old resident of Port Kaituma was slapped with a wounding charge after he allegedly stabbed a man about his body on Tuesday last.
Delroy “Donkey” Parish of Orenoque, Port Kaituma, North West District, Region One (Barima-Waini) appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus on Wednesday and denied the charge.
It is alleged that Parish unlawfully and maliciously wounded Robin Adams on June 5, 2018 at Orenoque, Port Kaituma.
According to the accused, he was attacked by Adams and was only defending himself. He was released on $50,000 bail. The case will continue at the Matthews Ridge Magistrate’s Court on August 7, 2018.
