Dear Editor,
We as religious people, when we see an evil, we should try to stop it with our hands, if not, then with our tongues. We need to speak up. I am calling on all the religious organisations. I am calling on Mr David Arthur Granger and the APNU/AFC hierarchy, as they are supposed to be religious people, to do the honest and decent thing. Concede. Don’t wait for God – The Almighty, to judge you all.
What this nation is going through is unbelievable, unreasonable and dishonest. Don’t take us down the road of sanctions.
Sanctions are not “jokes” and fun. It is serious. Look what sanctioning has done to Iraq, Iran and Venezuela just to name a few.
Personal sanctions could be extremely humiliating to anyone of us and our family. Let us be responsible people. Think about our country and future generations. I am calling on the religious people – don’t be dumb, deft and blind. Speak up for the sake of our country as One People, One Nation, One Destiny.
