GFF Elite League III…
The Guyana Football Federation’s (GFF’s) Elite League III will continue today, Sunday 16th September, with a double-header at the GFC ground. The first match, Fruta Conquerors vs GDF FC, will commence at 18:30h; while the second match, Western Tigers opposing Den Amstel in the main event of the night, will begin at 20:30h.
Two nights of double-headers to be staged at the GFC will follow these encounters. On Wednesday, September 19, GDF will play the Cougars at 19:00h, and Western Tigers will oppose Victoria Kings in the penultimate match at 21:00h.
The final two matches would be staged on Friday, September 21, at 19:00h, when Milerock clash in all-out war with Den Amstel and the Conquerors go up against Western Tigers in the mother of all matches at 21:00h.
The GFF Elite League is the senior league of the GFF, and aims to provide a platform for consistent, competitive football. It is divided into two rounds, the first of which began in November 2017.
Admission to matches costs just five hundred Guyana dollars, and all women — and children under 12 years old — will be admitted free of cost.
