Foster expressed gratitude to the donors and stated that they are all long-time supporters of Guyana’s leading youth and sports organisation. Mr. Mc Donald, noted that for the year, his business had closed off all donations to organisations due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but the RHTY&SC is one organisation that deserves to be assisted. Mr. AM Khan hailed the club and its ten cricket teams for their outstanding contributions to society especially making a positive difference in the lives of the elderly and less fortunate. He committed to continuing the support as long as he enjoys good health in the future.
The 2020 Christmas Programme of the ten teams would officially start on Monday 7th of December with the distribution of hampers to less fortunate families. A total of one thousand food hampers valued at $4000.00 each would be distributed across Berbice to less fortunate families. The families were identified by a Special Committee of the club, who visited different communities.

Among the other projects planned are donations to orphanages, distribution of a special Christmas packages to senior citizens and Christmas breakfast to five hundred senior citizens in the Lower Corentyne area. Distribution of educational material, clothing and footwear would also be done in what Foster described as the largest Christmas programme ever organised by the club since it was started in 1990.
