The Guyana Police Force has taken Leon Michael David, a resident of Westminster, West Bank Demerara (WBD), into custody following a road rage incident in which he allegedly brandished a cutlass at another driver.
David is currently held at the La Grange Police Station, WBD, assisting with the ongoing investigation. The incident, which was highlighted on social media, follows a similar, episode last month involving national cyclist Christopher Hochan, who was injured in a hit-and-run altercation on Sheriff Street. Hochan reported that a driver of a car with license plate, PAE 9179, deliberately swerved into him after an exchange of words, causing him to lose control of his bicycle and sustain injuries. (G9)
