Driver fined for drunk driving

As Police amp up their presence on the roadways ahead of the holiday season, ranks in West Demerara were able to intercept Dellon Williams operating a motorcar whilst being under the influence of alcohol.
Williams appeared before Wales Magistrate Rushell Liverpool and admitted that during November 7, on the Public Road at La Grange, WBD, he drove motorcar PWW 803 while exceeding the prescribed limit of alcohol consumption.
He was fined ,500.
