Drivers threaten each other

– after collision at Den Heuvel

Tensions flared at Den Heuvel, East Bank Demerara on Sunday afternoon when the drivers of two motor cars trade fiery barbs following a collision just after 17:00h. This publication understands that the two drivers were on the verge of a physical altercation and threatened to draw weapons on each other.
According to information obtained, the PTT 6881 motor car collided with a Toyota 212 car which was reportedly driven by the self-identified police rank. The supposed policeman and the other driver were heard exchanging a series of expletives before persons at the scene intervened to calm the men down.
“You want defend yo-self tall man, you bruk up my car and come telling me stupidness…he bruk me car and he want beat me…You’re a mad man or what tall man?” the self-identified police rank was heard shouting.
The two eventually calmed down after repeated interventions by persons in the area.
