Dear Editor,
It is a seriously worrying matter, that a State employee would have on the worksite, guns and ammunition and large amounts of cash. Just what was the intended purpose(s) of these items? It must be queried. How was it possible for these items to be found on the worksite?
Was it an act of collusion…security breach…with nefarious intentions? What next would employees bring to their worksite?
Pilfering from State agencies is nothing new. The recently exposed case of fuel taken from the State oil company illegally and which today remains outstanding is a case in point.
The authorities, it seems, have no answer to the age-old problem of pilfering at State agencies. Employees would find and exploit the weaknesses in the system to their advantage and benefit.
