Two men are now in Police custody after they were caught with 42 grams of ganja at Lovers Lane Public Road, Amelia’s Ward, Linden, on Sunday.

Reports are that a party of Police were on patrol duty when they acted on information received and stopped motor lorry GXX 2450, which was driven by the 35-year-old suspect who was accompanied by a 21-year-old male.
As such, the ranks requested to conduct a search, to which the suspects agreed, and while in the process of the search, one green cellular phone box containing 31 zip lock bags containing leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis sativa was discovered.
Both men were told of the offence committed, cautioned and arrested.
They were escorted to the Mackenzie Police Station where the cannabis was weighed in their presence and amounted to 42 grams.
