Devon Carrington and Isaac Greaves were on Tuesday sentenced to jail by city Magistrate Dylon Bess for robbery under arms.
It is alleged that the two men on July 10, 2015, at Freeman Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown, while armed with a firearm, robbed the Virtual Complainant (VC), Sherlyn Martindale of one cellular phone, a handbag, an ATM
card and a sum of $10 000, for a total of $96 000.
The duo had previously appeared before the courts in 2016 and was remanded to prison.
The presiding Magistrate, upon their final appearance, found both men guilty and handed down his ruling, in Carrington’s absence.
The first accused (Greaves) was sentenced to three years imprisonment while Carrington received a four-year sentence.
