Residents of Block 22, Wismar, Linden, were given an opportunity to voice concerns over issues affecting them during a recent visit to the community by E Division (Linden-Kwakwani) Commander, Senior Superintendent Linden Lord and other senior police ranks and regional officials.

The team, which also comprised of Assistant Superintendent P Peters-Fernandes and other ranks, Linden Town Clerk Orleena Obermuller and a representative of the Cops and Faith, conducted a walk-about around the community where they interacted with residents by listening to their concerns and issues.
During the visit, the Divisional Commander also distributed grocery hampers to 67-year-old Cheryl Henry and 69-year-old Silvia Giles. Lord noted that the visit was a timely one and cited that such visits should be made more often so as to improve the relationship between Police and residents.
