COVID-19 outbreak
As Guyana continues to feel the impact of the novel coronavirus, E-Networks on Saturday announced that it will be reducing the prices for its wireless TV and internet services to support its customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting from May 1, 2020, the company said that the monthly fees for its DreamTV wireless service, its most popular TV service, will be reduced by 10 per cent.
For its wireless internet customers, E-Networks underscored that they will not only be lowering pricing but customers will experience 20 times greater speeds.
“This move comes after an upgrade earlier this year to the company’s OnFiber residential packages, which were increased from 3 Mbps to 250 Mbps for the same price”, the company stated.
During these unprecedented times in which more persons have to work and study from home, E-Networks said that it recognises the importance of delivering adequate internet and content on a reliable network to keep persons connected, informed, and entertained.
So far, the overwhelming pandemic has already led to a major disruption of the global economy. Some persons have already lost their jobs, while others were forced to accept a reduction in their salaries.
