Curwin Estwick, also known as Timothy Estwick, was on Tuesday granted bail in the sum of $300,000 by Magistrate Wanda Fortune in connection with a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony in the torching of ex-cop Teon Allen’s— also known as “Spoil Child”— car.
It is alleged that Estwick, of Lot 57 Peter’s Hall, East Bank Demerara (EBD), on September 10, 2019, conspired along with other unknown persons to unlawfully and maliciously damage the ex- cop’s car, PXX4598 at Amelia’s Ward, Mackenzie, Linden. The car is valued at a cost of $2.4 million.
As a condition for bail, the 25-year-old defendant has to report to the subordinate Police Officer in charge of the Mackenzie Police Station Criminal Investigations Department (CID) every Friday until the conclusion of the trail.
He was also ordered to lodge his passport, which he indicated was already lodged at Police Headquarters.
The case will continue on January 8, 2020, for report.
