The prosecution contended and successfully proved that Vieira along with two others committed the armed robbery at Craig, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
Vieira along with Winston McKenzie, 35, of New Scheme, Eccles, EBD; and Feyaud Hamid, both of Meadow Bank, EBD, initially denied that on May 20, 2017, at Craig and being armed, they robbed Dai Zhung of a minibus valued $2.3 million, a quantity of fish glue valued $25 million, three cellphones and $500,000 cash; all totalling $28,780,000.
They have since been on trial, however, the other two accused in the matter were both set free when Magistrate Latchman found them not guilty of the said offence.
