Ahead of the upcoming Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Under-19 Inter-County tournament, the Essequibo Cricket Board (ECB) are set to bowl off trials on March 19, 2018.

The Cinderella County have had major success in recent times, winning the Jaguars 3-Day League title; their first major title in domestic history. The franchise also did exceptionally well in the 50-over format going unbeaten for most of the tournament.
Meanwhile, their younger batch of players will now have the chance to assert themselves into the fray such as; the Anthony Adams, Ricardo Adams, Ronsford Beaton and others who would have represented the county at the various levels before going on to play at the highest or national levels.
The Trials which is set to starts Monday (today) will run up until the March 22nd. Two 50-over matches will accompany a lone 2-Day match, which will be played at the Imam Bacchus Ground, Essequibo from 8:30am.
The ECB are also urging its players to be punctual during the trial period.
