− as Digicel hosts 1st draw of “Summa Rush” promotion
Digicel Guyana on Saturday evening held the first draw of its “Summa Rush” promotion at MovieTowne, Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown, which saw Mahendra Sumar of Colindgen, East Coast Demerara (ECD), driving away with one of three Toyota Rush motor vehicles that were up for grabs.
The promotion, which commenced on July 16 and ends on September 4, was executed in a way whereby customers would have to top up with $1000 or more to acquire the letters to spell “RUSH” in order to win a brand-new Toyota Rush vehicle.
Saturday’s draw saw five contestants being eligible to win the first vehicle.
Communications Manager at Digicel, Vidiya Sanichar told Guyana Times that the last qualifying period for the promotion will be September 2. There will be two other draws with the next being set for August 21.
She further noted that “if someone were to top up $4000 in one go, that would only give them one letter. But if they top up $4000 at $1000 increments, they get four letters.”
Customers spelling the word R-U-S-H within the qualifying periods will participate in the draw for a chance to win 1 of the 3 Toyota Rush SUVs. All persons spelling the word R-U-S-H will receive $100,000 once letters are verified and deemed legitimate.
Digicel would have launched this promotion last month, stating that the qualifying periods are July 16 – August 5; August 6 – August 19 and August 20 – September 2.
