Education Ministry debunks social media post claiming schools not reopening Monday

The Education Ministry late Saturday on its Facebook page advised that a poster circulating on social media claiming that schools will remain closed until January 15 is “entirely fallacious”.
Reiterating that schools remain scheduled to reopen Monday, January 5, the Ministry requested that persons refrain from disseminating false information and spreading misinformation, which, it stated, “directly undermines the academic welfare of our students.”
