EML congratulates senior squash team following sponsorship

Eureka Medical Laboratories Incorporated (EML) has extended congratulations to Guyana’s senior squash team on their successful participation in the recently concluded Pan Am Championships in Guatemala.
The team’s participation was made possible in part by Eureka Labs in the form of free PCR COVID-19 testing to attend the games. The tests were conducted on March 31 at the company’s head office in Thomas Street Georgetown. Seven persons from the team were tested at EML.
Chief Executive Officer of EML, Andrew Boyle, has declared himself always happy to support Guyana’s sportsmen and women on both the local and international scenes. Last November, EML waived the cost for PCR tests for those who competed in the Junior Pan American Games, as well as for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, which was held in August, 2021. Boyle believes that this signals the trust Guyanese have in the accuracy and integrity of the Lab’s services. He posited that Eureka would continue to uphold its ISO-accredited service to the Guyanese populace and to those visiting Guyana.
Further, Boyle has said his company stands committed to serving the sporting fraternity and the people of Guyana in any way it can.
At the Squash Championships, seasoned Guyanese Squash player Nicolette Fernandes managed to secure a gold medal for Guyana in the women’s singles, while the senior national female team won bronze and the Men’s team placed eighth. These rankings have allowed them all to lock in their spots at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games, which would be held in El Salvador from June 28 to July 8.
