The semi-final stage in the 2021 inaugural Essequibo Softball Cricket League’s (ESCL’s) over-40, 20-over competition takes place on Sunday, November 7.
In Sunday’s first game at the Reliance Ground, Invaders Masters will tackle Sunrisers, while the second fixture will see Caribbean Sports Club opposing Ravens Sports Club.

In the final preliminary round match last Sunday at Affiance, Caribbean Sports Club beat Queenstown Tigers by a comfortable 38-run margin. Caribbean Sports Club raced to 150-9 from their 20 overs, and then dismissed Queenstown Tigers for 112 in the 16th over.
Eshwar Singh led the winners with a well-played 35, while Motie Narine captured three wickets for 44 runs from his maximum four overs.
When Queenstown Tigers batted, Narine struck 31, while Lukieram Bridgemohan produced an excellent bowling performance for Caribbean Sports Club by claiming three wickets for 17 runs off his four overs.
In the other fixture, Sunrisers got the win over Ravens Sports Club because of a protest. It was reported that Ravens Sports Club had fielded an under-40 player.
