Reports are that the shooting occurred at about 19:30h at a bus shed in Queenstown. The men were allegedly shot by an ex-convict known as “Bad Boy”.
McLennon’s father, Donald McLennon, told this publication on Sunday that his son and “Bad Boy” had an altercation some time ago and it seems as if the shooting was an act of revenge.

Dead: Keon McLennon

The dead man’s father said his son, who is a farmer, had left home at around 18:00h on Saturday and shortly after they receive the news that he was killed.
The senior McLennon said he was told that his son was seated under the bus shed when “Bad Boy” approached him and said “me story don’t done suh”, and subsequently whipped out a gun and opened fire.
The man said that “Fronto” was across the road and since he saw what occurred, “Bad Boy” shot him too and emptied his pockets of cash and other items.
He then made good his escape.
The tearful man, who is still in disbelief of his son’s death, said he is hoping that his family gets justice. The two men were rushed to the Suddie Hospital where McLennon was pronounced dead. A post-mortem examination will be conducted soon. Up to press time, the Police were silent on the incident.
