Essequibo Coast woman nabbed with ganja in bedroom
A 32-year-old woman of Charity Extension Scheme, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), has been taken into custody after a quantity of ganja was found in her bedroom.
The cannabis that was found by Police
Reports are that on Thursday, Police ranks received information and went to the suspect’s house in Charity Extension Scheme, where a search was conducted. During the search, a quantity of leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis was found in a transparent bag in her bedroom.
As a result, the housewife was arrested and taken to the Charity Police Station when the cannabis was weighed and amounted to 464 grams.
