Essequibo will begin the sixth and penultimate round of the ongoing GCB/Jaguars 3-Day League competition with a commanding lead over the other seven teams when the competition continues on Friday.

Lower Corentyne who have 60.4 points, currently trail table leaders, Essequibo who have accumulated 71.4 points, by a deficit of 11 points. In third position, West Demerara sit on 49.9 points while Georgetown remains in fourth position with 48.5, as a winless East Coast Demerara dangle in last place.
With the 6th round set to be more interesting following the departure of a number of top players who are preparing for West Indies duties or are currently with the Guyana T20 squad, Georgetown and West Berbice will face off at Bush Lot, while Upper Corentyne tackles Upper Demerara/East Bank at Port Mourant.
Lower Corentyne will clash with West Demerara at Young Warriors, with all matches from 9:30h from Friday October 6. Meanwhile, Essequibo will engage East Coast of Demerara at the Lusignan,Community Centre ground from Saturday October 7 also from 9:30h.
