Police in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23-year-old man who was found dead on Friday in his Onderneeming, Sand Pit, Essequibo Coast home.
Dead: Jason Ramdatt
The dead man has been identified as Jason Ramdatt, who had resided alone and was known for being a heavy drinker of alcohol.
The man’s body was discovered by his aunt, who suspects that he died by suicide. A postmortem examination would be conducted in the coming week to determine the cause of his death.
The Police have since confirmed that there were marks of violence on the man’s body.
