Twenty-eight-year-old Cinzla Edwards, a part-time worker of Mainstay Lake, Essequibo Coast, appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court on Friday October 17, charged with attempted murder. 
Edwards is accused of committing the offence against 30-year-old construction worker Ian Heartman, of Mainstay Lake, Essequibo Coast.
The accused was not required to plead.
The Prosecutor objected to bail and Edwards was remanded to prison.
This case was adjourned to October 30, 2025.
