Lunisha Peters

Based on information, Peters and the suspect once shared a relationship while living together. However, she moved away recently and was living with her aunt up until her demise.

The Police said that the suspect visited Peters at her aunt’s home where he was invited inside. While inside he reportedly heard the now dead woman speaking on the phone with a male. He then became annoyed and snatched Peters’ by her hair and dragged her into the kitchen where he armed himself with a knife.

The man then took Peters into the bathroom where he dealt her several stab wounds.

Peters’ aunt having heard the commotion, raised an alarm after which the suspect ran out the house and made good his escape on foot. Immediate checks for him turned up empty after which the Police were summoned.

The woman’s body was examined for injuries where several stab wounds about the head and body were observed and a knife and a rolling pin with blood stains were observed at the scene.

The body was later escorted to the Suddie Public Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
