Everest hosts Mustapha Kadir Memorial Domino Tournament

Everest Cricket Club Pavilion is the place to be today for the Mustapha Kadir Memorial domino tournament.

All members and friends of Everest are invited to remember the life of Kadir, who was a longstanding and dedicated member of the club.

The event is an ‘in-house’ one, meaning it is only open to club members, who will form three teams to compete for trophies that will be presented by Christopher Kadir and other members of the Kadir family. Christopher is the son of the late Mustapha.

The memorial domino competition is to mark the first anniversary of Kadir’s who died on January 20 last year. The day’s event will also build camaraderie among members while they await the start of Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) 2017 season which is delayed by rain.

Activities will start at 15:00h in the club’s main pavilion at the Carifesta Avenue and Camp Street venue.
