Everest Masters reign in Suriname

Everest Masters are on tour in neighbouring Suriname and beat Snellen Park in their feature match last Friday as they continue their preparation for the upcoming tour to Holland.
Played in Suriname, hosts Snellen Park won the toss and batted first but were soon bowled out for 63 in 19.4 overs with only Sunil Singh scoring 17 showing any pedigree.

Everest Masters bowlers shared the wickets evenly with Rakesh Gangaram leading the way with 2 for 8 from three tight overs and was supported by Ucil Armstrong with 2 for 10 from 3 overs and captain Rajesh Singh with 2 for 13 from 4 overs.
Everest Masters then reached 64 for 1 from 12.5 overs for the easy win. Opener, Sahadeo Hardaiow scored 39 and was later named Man of the Match. Basil Persaud who was at the crease when the winning run was scored, finished on 11 not out.
