Guyanese from all walks of life will be celebrating Easter in their own special way, and some of the biggest parties and concerts are planned to add to the excitement.
Persons on the East Bank of Essequibo will be in for a treat as XTRA Beer and Energy Drink are taking the vibes to the Parika Community Centre Ground for their Fun Day and Chutney Show on Easter Monday.
During the day, there will be lots of family-oriented activities that will keep the kids and the entire family engaged. These include a kite-flying competition, a bun-eating competition and some athletics to create the right environment. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. 
As the place gets dark, there will be one of the hottest dance competitions to be held at the venue. It will be opened to all and the winners will receive fabulous prizes, including cash.
Immediately after that, the Chutney Show will commence and will feature reigning International Chutney Monarch Omardath Maraj and former Chutney Soca Monarch Kris Persad (KI). The artistes are expected to arrive in Guyana on Sunday evening and promise to entertain to the fullest.
Adding some vibes to the event will be Gully Ras and Selector Diamond from Boom FM.
Children will be admitted free to the Fun Day, while adults will be charged an admission fee.
