FARMSUP gifts CDC vehicle, money in flood relief efforts

Farm Supplies Limited (FARMSUP) has aided the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) in its mission to help flood-affected persons countrywide.
During a simple handing-over ceremony, FARMSUP Marketing Coordinator Monique Tiwari, presented one JMC Motor Lorry and a cheque of $500,000 to Captain Michael Andrews of the CDC to support the flood relief efforts, countrywide.

A brief statement from FARMSUPS’ representative indicated that “the company as a whole is moved by the devastating effects of the flooding caused across Guyana, and will always be happy to contribute in helping to make a difference by lending support to communities in need.”
The company added that it hoped that the donation would aid the national flood relief efforts being coordinated by the CDC.
