The Give Another Chance Foundation is once again set to present what is now one of its annual charity events in the form of a fashion show called “Fashion for Charity”.
Guyanese fashion designers will yet again captivate patrons and fashion lovers with the second chapter called “Rays of Hope” which is slated for Sunday, December 9 at the Theatre Guild.
In addition to being an opportunity for talented fashion designers, the event will highlight the upcoming local make-up artists, hairstylists and striking local runway models.
The show is coordinated by designer Nelsion Nurse and actor Frederick Minty who describes it as more than just the regular fashion shows, since it is choreographed to tell a fashion story while incorporating music, dance and drama. As such, patrons will be treated to performances by various artistes under the K.A.S.T label who have been very supportive of the venture from its inception.
The Sassy Revellers and other dance companies are slated to perform the night of the show.
Patrons will be treated to collections by 12 of Guyana’s Leading designers such as Sonia Noel, Tracey Douglas, Sydney Francious and many more. Meanwhile, lucky patrons will walk away with fabulous door prizes.
Tickets for the event cost $3000 while the VIP experience cost $5000 with patrons being treated to complimentary cocktails during the intermission.
Tickets are available through Sophia Dolphin down at Gizmos and Gadgets, Cellular Connections on Regent Street, Eco for Life, Public Road Friendship and at the Theatre Guild, Parade Street Kingston.
Funds for this event will go towards their annual Christmas drive. You can learn more about the foundation and support their cause by visiting their Facebook page.
