A shopkeeper was placed on ,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Dylan Best to answer to a simple larceny charge at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Orin Favourite, popularly known as Favourite, of Lot 10 Rose Mary Lane, South Cummingsburg, pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that on June 28, 2016, he stole one gold chain valued , 000, property of Charles Hetmyer.
The unrepresented defendant told the Court that he has no knowledge of the crime and begged for leniency.
