First Hanuman Chalisa chanting being hosted in Guyana

The Guyana National Stadium will be the transformed into a Hanuman Chalisa chanting arena on Sunday as the Bajrang Baan Committee hosts its first-ever Hanuman Chalisa chanting in Guyana. Hanuman Chalisa is a set of 40 verses dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
It was written by the famous yogi Sri Goswami Tulsidas in the 16th century. According to shvasa.com, legend has it that Tulsidas, in a state of illness, penned the Hanuman Chalisa. The act of composing and singing praises to Lord Hanuman played a pivotal role in Tulsidas’s recovery, contributing to the restoration of his health.
All mandir singers and musicians have been invited to the local event, which will commence at 15:30h and conclude at 20:00h. People desirous of attending are encouraged to wear something red, and the event will be free.
