Dear Editor,
It is about time the Ministry of Public Infrastructure fix the numerous traffic lights in and around the city which are not working properly and are a traffic menace.
The light, for instance, where I drive every day: at the corner of Mandela Avenue and Joseph Pollydore Street, has been flashing red, it seems, forever. I have personally seen drivers totally confused at that point.
The lights at the junctions of Sheriff Street are either on or off at peculiar times; they have nothing to do with traffic flow, and are not working at all.
Yours sincerely,
Kit Nascimento
