Georgetown based softball team, Floodlights will travel to West Coast Berbice on Friday February 23 for a feature hardball match against Bush Lot Sports Club.
The match will be a 20 overs a-side affair and is a fund raising event for the Bush Lot Mandir.
The match starts at 11:30h and at stake will be trophies compliments of Trophy
Stall and 4R Bearings. After the match, there will be some side attractions including male and female track and field events, tug-o- war, buns eating competition, needle and thread race and catch the greasy pig. Admission is $200. Meanwhile, Floodlights have announced their squad from which their final 11 will come from. They will be lead by Stephen Naraine and features some tested names in the hardball arena including current youth players Aaron Beharry and Ajay Gainda.

Floodlights who are more known for their exploits on the softball arean will then take on Albion Sports Club on Saturday night from 19:00h at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground in Georgetown and have added Rakesh Arjune, Ariel Persaud, Reyaz Hussain and Romeo Deonarain to their squad.
