Floodlights meet Parika Defenders in curtain-raiser

The Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground in Queenstown, Georgetown is the venue for the opening match of the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association- organized (GFSCA) Tournament sponsored by the following entities: Back to Eden, Khan’s Trading, Permaul’s Trading and Trophy Stall.
Parika Defenders have been pitted against Floodlights to get the ball rolling in the Masters Over-40 years old category from 19:30h.

Meanwhile, the intensity will continue in the same category, but at the Malteenoes Sports Club ground on Thomas Lands on Sunday, when Wellman take on Amazon Masters on Pitch One, and Fishermen Masters and Savage do battle simultaneously on Pitch Two from 10:00h.
The afternoon fixtures will bring together Albion Masters and Parika Defenders on Pitch One, and Success Masters and Enterprise Legends on Pitch Two from 13:00h.
The tournament will be played in four categories: Masters Over-40 years old, Masters Over-50 years old, Male Open and Female Open.
