Floodlights take on 4R in Richard’s birthday clash

Recently crowned champions of Guyana Softball Cup 6, Floodlights have accepted a challenge from business entity 4R Bearings of Duncan Street Campbellville to a softball 20/20 match on Friday November 18 at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground. Floodlights who won the Master’s title will be fielding a full strength team in the night game which is being played in honour of opening batsman and longstanding wicketkeeper, Richard Persaud who will be celebrating his birthday.

Included in the 4R squad are locally based United States of America baseball player Eric Pluemer and his brother William Pluemer who are confident of converting their skills and compete in the softball cricket match against the softball champions of the Americas.
