Florida Guyana Hope call up big stars for big clash

– Tangible donations on the day’s agenda

Florida Guyana Hope have begun their annual trip to Guyana with a series of charity outreaches on Saturday and will take to the cricket field today for a feature cricket match.
The charity organization based in Florida, USA is on their fourth annual trip to the land of their birth and will team up with Regal Masters in their quest for softball cricket supremacy when they take on a powerful Corriverton United team from 10:00h.

Since some members of the Florida Guyana Hope cricket team are not on the tour for various reasons, they have called up seasoned softball players from champion team, Regal Masters. Mahendra Hardyal, Mahendra Arjune, David Harper, Mahesh Chunilall, Eon Abel and Eric Thomas are all committed to the charity efforts of the visitors and have agreed to the game.
Meanwhile, the hosts will not be taking anything for granted and have selected their best players since winning is a top priority as well.
After the game, a grand presentation will follow where the members of Florida Guyana Hope are expected to donate 40 wheel chairs and 20 walking aids to various charities and the not so fortunate.
While in Guyana, the non for profit organization will be making tangible donations to various Children’s Homes in regions three and four.
Corriverton United will come from; James Hart (captain), Vibert Dan (Vice-captain), Anthony Seeraj, Michael Dan, Lawrence Mentis, Raymond Lowenfield, Hassan Mohamed, Mirza Ally, Patrick Mentis, Zafrul Khan, Vishal Persaud, Fabian Seerraj, Akash Lutchman and Orin George. Vishnu Hardyal is the Manager.
