Crash landing at CJIA
Fly Jamaica Airways is now gearing up to face another lawsuit, this time filed by a Canadian law firm to represent passengers who claimed they were injured during the crash landing at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) on November 9, 2018.
Guyana Times understands that the notice of the class action suit was filed on Friday by the law firm, which is seeking compensation for not only the passengers who were on board the flight OJ256, destined for Toronto, Canada but the families who were affected as a result of the crash landing at CJIA.
A total of four passengers, who are all Canadians, are plaintiffs in the suit, according to the law firm.
This lawsuit comes days after the one filed by Canadian firms Howie, Sacks &
