Food Town year–end Golf Tournament plays today

Food Town Restaurant & Distribution Outlet of 266 Newton Street Enmore, East Coast Demerara is partnering with the Lusignan Golf Club to host this year’s end golf tournament on Saturday December 28 from noon.
Golfers and fans will be pleased to note that sponsorships for golfing tournaments continue unabated despite this being the usually busy Christmas holiday season.
Thanks to Food Town Restaurant, the tournament will also accommodate earlier play, as long as there is a group willing to play before the regular tee-off time.
Instead of Flights, the tournament will be played on the straight Medal Play system, with prizes and bragging rights being awarded for 1st to 5th Best Net scores as well as Best Gross.
With the weather being supportive, the tournament is set to be an exciting event.
The public is invited to spectate free of charge, as the golfers vie to be crowned year-end champion.

The sponsor of this year-end tournament, Food Town Restaurant, allows all licensed food vendors to order from a wide-ranging menu as much as they feel they would be able to sell on a daily basis, and simply have it delivered to their location. This makes it totally unnecessary to shop for ingredients, engage in early-morning cooking, or incurring transportation costs. All a vendor has to do is simply show up and sell at their location.
