Former 1st Class cricketer Munilall Chinwa passes

Former Guyana  First Class cricketer  Munilall Chinwa also known as Lall Minilall of West Palm Beach formerly of Canje, passed away peacefully  on April, 12 at the age of 68 in the presence of his loving son Derick, wife Chandra (also known as Seeta) and niece Jennifer.

Chinwa was born in Reliance, Berbice Guyana on August 17, 1948 and was the second youngest child of the late Chunoo and Sukrajie. Muni has eight siblings (4 brothers and 4 sisters).
As a child, Chinwa attend St. Patrick Anglican School and represented his school district in the sport of Cricket. He went unto playe county cricket and progress to play Shell Shield Cricket for Guyana. He worked with Tulsi Persaud, and continued to travel throughout Guyana playing cricket.
He is survived by his four sisters (Taither) Seeranie Rampersaud, (Sybil) Rajdai Ragunath, (Lizzy) Hardai Benny and (Brahash) Tara Ravilall, brother Seelall Chinwa, mother-in-law (Elsie) Deoki Budhu, sister-in-law (Shantie) Bhanmattie Arjoon, and Brother-in-laws (Krishna) Seoshai, (Vishnu) Deodat  Jaikissoon and (Narad) Radhay Budhu. Muni has 27 nieces and 14 nephews and too many grand nieces and nephews to count.
He preceded in death by his brothers Parmanan, Sookhai and Das Chinwa, nephew Kampata Persaud, Father-in-law Edwin (Goldsmith) Jaikissoon Budhu.
