…gun, knife, poisonous substance retrieved by cops
A man and a woman, whose relationship ended about two months ago, were on Tuesday morning found dead at a guesthouse at Lime Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown.

Dead are 36-year-old Cyril Saul and his former partner, Loriann (only name given), a 31-year-old housekeeper.
Police said that they are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after their bodies were discovered in separate rooms at the KK Villa, where both individuals worked.
Preliminary investigations revealed that both individuals employed at the said guesthouse were the only staff members on duty during the night shift on Monday.
Saul worked as a security guard while Loriann was employed as a cleaner.
On Tuesday morning, Loriann was discovered in Room 15 at around 08:15h, lying in a pool of blood, while Saul was found in Room 10, lying on his back.
Police revealed that Saul’s brother, Patrick Saul, related to Police that the couple shared a relationship, which ended about two months ago.
The brother said that he received a call from Cyril around 05:00h on Tuesday, who told him that he and Loriann had an argument and he wanted to go to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Police said several items, including a firearm, ammunition, a knife and a quantity of a suspected poisonous substance, were recovered at the scene and secured for forensic examination. CCTV footage from the premises was reviewed.
The bodies were escorted to the Memorial Funeral Parlour Mortuary, where they are awaiting post-mortem examinations as investigations continue.
