Deeraj Garbarran claimed the second leg of the 21st annual Cheddi Jagan Memorial cycling road race on the West Bank of Demerara on Sunday.

He was followed by Walter Grant-Stuart for second while Alonzo Ambrose (third) missed out on making it two for two after winning the opening leg a week ago in Berbice.
Jamual John was fourth while Junior Niles and Curtis Dey rounded out the list of top finishers in the senior category.
Briton John was the top Junior finishers with Adealie Hodge coming in second while Shanika Texiera was the lone female rider.
Niles also finished as the top Veteran while Raymond Newton and Alexis Meides were second and third, respectively.
