GBTI commissions new ATM at Anna Catherina

The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry Limited (GBTI) on Monday, commissioned their newest Automated Teller Machine (ATM) facility, located at Lot 12 Public Road, Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara.

higher standards. He also mentioned that GBTI will once again lead the way for the banking sector by introducing the new, more secured chip card. These cards will be launched soon and will see their card holders transacting businesses online, locally and overseas in a more secured way, protecting them from fraudulent activities.

The Regional Executive Officer (REO) of Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara), Dennis Jaikarran, lauded the bank’s move to establish an ATM in the Anna Catherina community, which he said is testament to the fact that the bank values its customers within this area.

He also expressed the hope that GBTI will expand its business in the community and country at large.

REO Dennis Jaikarran, GBTI’s Chief Executive Officer, John Tracey, along with two students from the Cornelia Ida and the Leonora Secondary Schools cut the ribbon, officially declaring the ATM commissioned. Also in attendance were Region Three Chairman, Julius Faeber, representatives from the Neighbourhood Democratic Council, as well as Senior Managers and staff of the bank.
