The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry Limited (GBTI) recently renewed their sponsorship commitment to the Guyana Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA) for the game’s local governing body’s biggest championship on its calendar; the 2018 GBTI Open.
This year’s tournament is scheduled to commence on June 22 and will see the country’s top juniors, seniors and veterans fiercely vying for the coveted titles.
At the bank’s headquarters in Kingston, Georgetown, the sponsorship cheque was handed over to GLTA’s Vice President Cristy Campbell in the presence of recently elected President Samuel Barakat, Vice President Robin Singh, Secretary Molly Hassan and committee member Illeana Boodoo.
