Receiving the donation on behalf of the Guyana Cancer Foundation was Bibi Hassan, who said GBTI has been a strong supporter of the cancer institution over the years.
She further noted that the Guyana Cancer Foundation is continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like GBTI, that answer the call to give again and again.
“It is donors like GBTI who provide the much needed financial and moral support which fosters the Foundation’s mission”.
GBTI’s Public Relation Officer, Pamela Binda noted that the Bank will continue to raise awareness across the country and remains committed towards same in the future.
Similar sentiments were also expressed by the representatives from the Periwinkle Cancer Club.
